This is highly modified Photoshop image from the original Olympus 2020 digi-shot. This was about 6 am from my varanda 1001.Captain is on wing using trusters from his console.

Lowering tenders, view from varanda looking aft.
Having been lowered, this is the tender/lifeboat running past my varanda

Image of platform that is hydraulically lowered from the hull. This is very impressive!
It's complex, and hardware geeks have to love looking at it. To that extent....

Walking down the steps to load on the tender. This is handled beautifully by Celebrity, there are no lines to speak of, and the platform is easy for all to board. This is GREAT ship design.

"7 Mile Beach" looking south.
Quite attractive and relaxing, but no idilic "isolationist" beach by any imagination. To the right (not shown) are properties. You would have fun hanging out here. Bar is 10 steps away.

"7 Mile Beach" looking north. There is a concession charging a lot for simple water sports toys. In the far distance is another cuise ship anchored.

Waterfront Street facing the pier. Street in town with shops

Jewelry opinion number 1.

The shops are absolutely beautiful. The selection is geared for high quality with all shops. This is a very efficent port is you want to not waste time and get pampered with the best of everything.
Jewelry opinion number 2.

There is no "pressure". Please keep in mind when shopping here that the cruise ships are a "minor" business. The big bucks are from the island which is a major financial center.

Booze Load
This is the duty free stuff being loaded to your cabin. In other words, for the next 2 days at sea, it's yours to consume if you wish. It works. The shop is right off of the pier.
Ride back to the ship from last port. Bummer, we're going home!

The Caymen Experience
Comment:

The port was unique because you anchor out, so for ship freeks, watching the anchor drop, and running ashore on the tenders is fun. Again, I did not give this port justice. It's a very brief stay. We did 7 mile beach am, and shopped in town pm. It was fun, we dropped into a local bistro on the waterfront and had a few cocktails before heading back.
